The competition was f***ing ORSM!!

Oh My GOD!!! The competition was just f***ing ORSM!!! I can't use other words to describe!!! Me and my first volleyball story since I came to Edinburgh. I haven't had such an ORSM game for ages!!! I am damn frigging delighted now!! I am in cloud nine=) I never expect myself to be the main player. Story begins..

I intend to play as a spiker as I understand I would definitely be a reserve if I played as a setter. So, during warm up, I went to spike and suddenly, the coach came to me and ask me to set. I was like..God Damn..want to put me as a reserve again!! Fine..Fine..Fine..expected this!!! My talent and skills are always under-utilised!! Whatever..

But, it came to my surprise that the coach actually put me as the main setter during the first game. I was feeling quite nervous and pressurize that time as I have not played as a setter for ages. Indeed, I have not actually played as a setter during training, which also means I have not worked with other spikers before. Gosh..this is so risky!!! I might fuck up the whole game!! Surprisingly, my setting was all right. Probably I was at my top form!! Well, we won the first set!!

Ok..Second set..close match..24-26 and we lost. Third set was a really lousy one, lost badly!!! I sort of want to give up already because I am tired and we just don't seems to be working hard enough to win. So many silly mistakes. 4th set, opponent was leading 10 points. At that point, I seriously gave up and just try to set whatever balls that are passed to me. Coach called for a timeout when the point is 21-13. This is what he said: You only have another 4 points.bla..bla..bla... someone have to say they are going to FUCKING win this game, or else you are not going to win. You have to fucking work for it. It won't come to you!!! FUCKING word really worked so so so well. Miracle happened!!! We managed to catch up from 13 and win the damn f***ing 4th set!!! Everyone in the court was at the top of their spirit!!!

5th set..The point was so so so close!!!1-1,2-1,2-2,3-2,3-3, until the opponent leading 2 points 10-8. I was slightly panic and excited. I was hoping my teammates will defend properly and pass me the ball. No ball touching the court!! Everyone was so careful with their ball. Serve so carefully, pass so carefully, just to make sure we dont lose any point. 14-14, and I made a silly silly mistake, somehow the ball slipped off my hand!!I was like f***, damn!!! But luckily opponent missed their serve, 15-15 and by that time I have my strongest spiker front line. Settled!!! we WON!!! Everyone was hugging each other, can see how happy we actually were!!! I have not had such a good match for ages!!! seriously..

Everyone was amazed with my setting as I am always an unknown during training, probably is lower than ordinary. I am so so so glad and grateful that I managed to perfome well. This does not happen to me all the time. I am grateful!!! I never expect this to happen. I really appreciate my coach for giving me the chance. Today is the happiest volleyball session I ever had since I join the volleyball team here. I have the drive to move on already=)
